DAVE VANIAN & THE PHANTOM CHORDS - Same double LP
When The Damned first split up in 1989, lead singer David Vanian formed the Phantom Chords. Their first single, a cover of the John Leyton number "Johnny Remember Me" was released in 1990 and their version of "Town Without Pity" followed in 1992. It was not until 1995 that Big Beat finally released a Phantom Chords album, which skillfully blended the genres rockabilly and Gothic rock fused together.
